Who We Are
Judith James is the founder of Franklin James Retirement Group, LLC, where she has dedicated her career to helping pre-retirees, retirees, and seniors build financial confidence through strategic retirement planning. A proud Augusta native, Judith graduated with honors from the University of Georgia after attending Middle Georgia College. She began her career as an educator, teaching locally for five years – a role that honed the listening, relationship-building, and planning skills she continues to
use with clients today.
In 1992, Judith entered the insurance industry and,
following the events of 9/11, shifted her focus to
retirement planning. Seeing the financial uncertainty many families faced, she made it her mission to help individuals by offering and teaching retirement strategies that could foster reasonable growth, mitigate risk and create longevity of income for her clients. At Franklin James, Judith and her team emphasize easy-to-understand
strategies designed to reduce worry and create lasting security.
Judith continues to serve families and individuals across the CSRA with the same values she was raised with – hard work, respect for others, and attention to detail. She is passionate about educating her community and helping clients implement customized retirement strategies that
support their goals and safeguard their futures.
